Want all of the perfect ingredients for a Girls Weekend? We took a shot at helping you out with an itinerary…
First, make reservations at the Sea Horse (right in the heart of all things Long Beach Island) by calling 609.494.5392. The most important detail of all!
Pack and get on the road Friday afternoon. Breathe in the salty-fresh air as you come over the bridge and are finally on LBI. Ahhhh… Make a right on Long Beach Boulevard for the Sea Horse.
Arrive, park your car (and never move it again the whole weekend) and check in the front office to get your key to one our newly-refurbished rooms. Yes!
You and your friends change into your bathing bests. Take a dip and relax by our pool for a bit. Unwind. Decompress. Forget your worries and let any stress melt away.
Head back to your rooms after a while and get (beach) fancied up for a night on the town.
Walk across the street (literally) for some sushi and cocktails at the Rooftop OBar – LBI’s only rooftop bar.
Eventually, head back across the street and let your head hit the comfy pillows and beds.
Wake up naturally (no alarms needed for girls’ weekend) and sip some in-room coffee before heading just ½ block to Bagels and Beyond for some yumbola morning grub.
Chill outside your rooms on the awesome Adirondack chairs provided by the Sea Horse while enjoying your bagels, bacon, egg & cheese and sipping your java. Ahhhh…
Eventually change into your bathing attire and saunter one block from your rooms to the white sands of Brant Beach and relax, sit back and enjoy the sounds of the waves and the sand in your toes.
Saunter back after a few hours and call to make dinner reservations at Stefano’s in Beach Haven. Take a brief power nap (either in the room or by the pool, you decide).
Change into your ‘beach chic’ and hail one of LBI’s FREE shuttles. Head to Stefano’s for some of the area’s best Italian and seafood fare in their fine-dining establishment.
Hail another FREE shuttle and make the (almost embarrassingly short) jaunt to the Surflight Theatre in Beach Haven. Take in the awesome theatre production.
Call it a night.
Wake up naturally (remember that no-alarm rule). Grab your gang and take a nice Sunday morning stroll to the Sandbox Café (26th and the Boulevard in Ship Bottom) and enjoy some delicious breakfast delectables. Stroll back and change into your bathing suits.
Catch a few more precious hours of beach time…don’t forget your SPF! Pack up (and make sad faces while doing it). Remember how to start your car since it didn’t leave the parking lot ALL weekend…
Check out and thank Elena, Chris and the Sea Horse staff. Head home (with sad faces) – stopping by the Old Causeway or Mud City on Bay Avenue (make the first right turn immediately after the bridge and then quick left) for some out-of-this-world seafood lunch items.
